81411/We need to change the government, put in one that actually cares for the people, maybe a redneck party./“When (President Franklin) Roosevelt did this, he put our country into a Great Depression[.] . . . “He tried to borrow and spend, he tried to use the Keynesian approach, and our country ended up in a Great Depression. That’s just history.” – Rep. Steve Austria (R-OH)/WRONG. There was a reason the out of work set up camps called Hoovervilles. The Stock Market Crash took place in October 1939 – 7 months into the Hoover Presidency./there’s a number of them I still think exacerbated the Great Depression - Sen. John McCain (R-AZ-ONLY WWII GOT US OUT OF THE DEPRESSION.-/The only issue is that FDR did not get us out of the Great Depression. It was World War II. Just draft a million or so jobless young men and his unemployment problem was “cured” – Texas Tea Party (2011)-WRONG.
